COMMENTS

You guys are just superb! Always help others giving useful tips and techniques.
I was surprised to learn that people prefer images and HTML to plain text emails. I've always heard the opposite. Where did that statistic come from?
Thanks a bunch for the templates. Your post came just in time when we were designing our emails for sending holiday special offers to our customers.?
?
I am sure this will help us create professional emails for our agents as well. Thanks a bunch, and have a happy holidays ahead!?

Working mostly in the B-to-B arena, my testing has continually shown that people prefer the text vs. images and HTML. Wondering where you got your numbers (seems Ralph and I have the same question). love all the Hubspot info. ?

Cindy
Awesome and so nice of you to offer these!! Thank you!?
?
Knowing that the same email will be opened on different supports (desktop email like outlook, mobile phone, blackberry, soft phones, tablets..), do we know which technology to use to be able to have it properly set??
?
How can I make sure that my image dimension is correct, that the call to action is always placed properly, knowing that I can use only one single email and html code for all supports??
?
That is to me the biggest challenge. Agreed that we need an email, a landing page and so on. But each of this will be opened in a different support and needs to be tested on each support. Are these templates an answer to this?
What a great Christmas surprise! Thank you Hubspot...FOR BEING AWESOME! :)
Maybe "think vertical" is the answer.. Think vertical and see how things get aligned on different formats.?
?
Tested your email template and it looks nice. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. Nice coding by the way!
I've also heard that most people prefer text to HTML. ?
?
Can you segment your findings for B2B versus B2C? ?
?
It's hard to believe that a senior executive would prefer HTML over text. But if that's what the research shows, I'll open my mind.
I think that nowadays, noone looks at text emails when on their desktop, even executives.?
?
Text format is used to be preferred for mobile emails. But nowadays mobiles do give a nice layout with html.?
?
I used to be a text-fan emails until technology offered me visual comfort with html, that are downloaded quickly.?
?
HTML format does not necessarily means with a lot of images or even with an image at all. Font formatting uses html and relieves a lot of hassle when reading.?
?
Maybe there is a confusion between HTML email and image email?
Hmmmm...love the templates, but the promo code is not working for me (I'm getting a message saying "promo code not valid"). Is there any other way to get these??
I would love you use the statistics to help small businesses realize the importance of mobile. How should I source them?
Thanks for the offer - these are some very nice templates. I tried to get a set, but after I click Get Templates Free, it hangs, then eventually times out.
For those of you wondering where the two stats we called out in the beginning of the article are from, they came from our Science of Email Marketing 2012 research (http://www.hubspot.com/the-science-of-email-marketing/). Sorry for not clarifying -- I've updated the post with the link.
Hi folks -- We're experiencing some time outs due to the high volume of traffic to the email templates. Just a heads up that we're currently investigating and working to get this fixed ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience ... sit tight!
You guys are just completely awesome. I fully intend on integrating your software into TGMC's marketing plan as soon as the opportunity arrives on our side. Thank you for your great support
Update: Things should be working a lot more smoothly now for those of you trying to get your templates. Try again, and let us know if you're still having difficulties. Thanks again for your patience :)
I ordered the templates. I am a Hubspot customer. I believe my Paypal account was charged $85. I am checking now. There was no option for the promo code.
